Absolute game-changer!
Ian Tosczak, Grade 7 Teacher
"The Financial Fitness program was an absolute game-changer for my grade 7 class. The lessons were not only age-appropriate but also delivered with an infectious energy that kept my students engaged and excited to learn. One of the program’s features standout features was its comprehensive coverage of various financial concepts. From the basics of budgeting to the intricacies of passive and active income, my students received a well-rounded education that is invaluable at such a formative stage in their lives. The program didn't just teach financial literacy; it instilled a sense of financial confidence and responsibility in each student."

Demystifying
Brie Lunn, President of Bayview PAC
“ My Grade 4 daughter said ‘I thought the stock market was something scary. I didn’t know it was so easy to invest and that I could do it.”She came home with knowledge, questions, and an eagerness to be in control of how her money was spent and grown. This ignited conversation and continued learning at home. She felt empowered and excited to use these lessons in real life.”

Fun

“I was having the best time; I didn’t even realize it was a learning exercise!”

Insightful
Christie Rossignol, Grade 4 Teacher
"As a teacher, I am always looking for highly engaging activities with the student's diverse learning needs in mind. What I want is something where the kids will feel that they are a part of something, and can see the value and application of what they are learning." When I had the Financial Fitness team in my grade 2/3 class to teach from their financial literacy program, I knew I had found exactly that level of magic that makes teaching, and learning happen in a meaningful way. All of my students were highly engaged and interested in learning more about how money works, while looking after their classroom and doing their “jobs” to earn their income. While it was heartwarming to see the absolute joy that the students were displaying, what I found most incredible was the mature discussions that were happening around the room. Expressing concerns about their taxes, income level, and job options, eight-year-olds were very quickly understanding financial literacy and what it means to make and manage money. With overwhelming gratitude, I recommend this program since it was such a positive experience for my class and led to longer-term discussions once the lesson was over. Thank you so much for coming in and sharing your insight in a fun and meaningful way with us.

Effective Learning
Benedicte Bossut, Grade 6 Teacher
"The Financial Fitness workshop was fabulous! Instructional and energizing, it captivated the students to learn so much about the power of saving and earning passive income through play. This program combines personal awareness with critical thinking and communication skills. From the teacher's standpoint, their delivery of this program was so effective that even the shyest, least motivated students could not hold back their excitement!"

Super Impressed
Jane, Grade 6 Teaching Assistant
“I was super impressed by this workshop. It was amazing not only because it provided a great opportunity for younger students to understand pivotal financial concepts that they would benefit from for their whole lifetime, but also because it engagingly incorporated career education. It combined math, accounting, finance, personal awareness, and emotional intelligence. I come from a banking background, and I have never seen anything quite like it. The students were mesmerized.”

Invaluable
Georgia, Grade 1 and 2 Teacher
My kids said: "I learned something that I didn’t think I would learn at this age’ and this speaks volumes. Your delivery from handing out the tactile realistic money in the beginning and having them explore and handle this themselves, to giving them jobs and having a whole shopkeeping, budgeting, and banking set up within the classroom in such a short time was fantastic. I was surprised at how well the Grade 1s and 2s took to the new vocabulary. They did understand the meaning of budgeting by the end. It was brilliant."

Brilliant
Jacqueline, Grade 5 & 7 Boys Mother
“Oh my gosh! My son came home so pumped and chuffed all about his “passive income” and good choices! It really is brilliant what you are doing with these kids!“
